An appointment to a professorship is to be made at ESB Business School in the summer semester 2022 or later:
The appointed professor will teach bachelor and master levels of Strategic Management and Corporate Development at the ESB Business School of Reutlingen University. Willingness and ability to teach courses in one or more adjacent topic areas is expected. Readiness and proficiency to teach in English is a prerequisite, international experience is preferred. Our international quality standards require a proven track record in practice-oriented research. Experience (practical and/or scholarly) in one or more of the following strategic fields is beneficial: Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and/or Sustainability. The appointed professor will also assume tasks and functions in the School’s self-administration.
In general, candidates must also demonstrate:
• Successful completion of appropriate university studies
• Special competence in academic work, typically evidenced by a doctoral degree and scholarly publications
• A minimum of five years professional experience after completion of studies, at least three years of which must be outside
of the university system
